At just 14 years old, I decided to take a photography class on a whim. Two weeks later I announced to my parents I was going to become a photographer, and haven't looked back since. Photography gave me the voice I had been looking for, and my comfort zone has been behind the camera ever since.
Born and raised in a small town in Massachusetts, I chose to attend the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) to further pursue my passion and experience something new. Attending MICA opened my eyes to all different kinds of artistic expression and made me want to make the most of my time there. With this new found drive, I took an internship at a wedding photography company. I was suddenly spending every Saturday driving around Maryland from one wedding to the next, and loving every minute of it. Now having worked weddings from Baltimore to Boston, I still treat every wedding as a new challenge, and consider it a privilege to be trusted with capturing such a personal day in someone's life.
I believe in trying to preserve as many moments of a wedding without interfering on the course of the day, I want to capture it all in a way that lets you relive your wedding through my photographs. I enjoy being a fly on the wall and in the middle of the action, and believe both are necessary to let you get the most out of the day. Love my work? I'd love to hear from you; and be a part of your day.
